3 Things To Pack For The June Camp

After a four-year break, we are about to have our long-overdue June camp, which will run from the 19th to 22nd of June this year. As we prepare our luggage for the June camp, let us not forget to pack these 3 things as well for the June camp.

#1 – Thankfulness (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Remember to give thanks to God who has taken care of us through the 3 years of the pandemic and provided us with this opportunity to resume traveling overseas. Remember to give thanks to the church brethren who have taken their time to organize the camp and run it.

#2 – Patience (1 Corinthians 13:4a)

Stuck in a jam at the Causeway? Be patient! Mix-up with the room keys? Be patient! Long lines at the lunch buffet? Be patient! Getting impatient and frustrated will not resolve the situation any quicker.

#3 – Self-Sacrifice (Philippians 2:3-5)

Do you see a parent struggling with a fussing child at the dining area? Why not offer to help get some food and a drink for him/her? Is there a long line for the washroom? Why not check to see if anyone is extremely “urgent”, and let him/her go first? When we have a self-sacrificial attitude, a humble mind that put the needs of others before our own, everything will be so much more pleasant.

Here’s wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable camp! Don’t forget to pack these 3 things in your luggage.
